PersonalityPro (personalitypro.co) is operated by Kaizen Brands LLC, 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can delete it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Test answers and results. Your answers to the personality test and the scores and type we calculate from them. You can take the test without an account.
  • Account details. Your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
  • Purchases. Which guide you bought, the amount, and the payment status. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never reach our servers.
  • Messages. Anything you send through the contact form or by email.
  • Friend comparisons. If you use the friends feature, the connections you accept.

Information collected automatically

  • Pages viewed, buttons clicked, and steps reached in the test and checkout
  • Device, browser, approximate location from IP address, and referring site
  • Error reports and performance data

How we use your information

  • To score your test and show your results and any guide you buy
  • To run your account, including sign-in and password reset emails
  • To take payments, send receipts, and handle refunds
  • To answer your messages
  • To understand how the site is used and fix problems
  • To prevent fraud, spam, and abuse

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share information only with the companies that run parts of the service for us, and only what each one needs:

  • Vercel: website hosting and bot protection
  • Convex: database for accounts, test results, and purchases
  • Stripe: payment processing and receipts
  • Resend: account and notification emails
  • Cloudflare: domain name service and email forwarding
  • PostHog: product analytics. On the live site it may record anonymised session replays; form inputs are masked.
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: traffic and conversion measurement
  • Plausible: privacy-friendly page analytics that we host ourselves
  • Sentry: error monitoring. Session replays mask all text and inputs and block media.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember an in-progress test, and measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as staying signed in, may then stop working.

How long we keep information

  • Account data, results, purchases, friend connections, and contact messages are kept until you delete your account.
  • When you delete your account from Dashboard → Settings, we delete your account, test sessions, results, purchase records, friend connections, and contact messages. We keep only an anonymous record that a deletion happened, with counts and no way to identify you.
  • Stripe keeps its own payment records as payment and tax laws require.
  • Results from tests taken without an account are not linked to you. Email us with the result link if you want one removed.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Email contact form and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Age

PersonalityPro is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We and our providers process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws from where you live.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
